“A Doctor’s Confession to the Guilford Residence…”

And why, despite all, I still do what I do…

 

Dear friend,

   

Confessions are tough, but, sometimes a confession can set the record straight, and I want to give credit where credit is due. Before I talk about my confession, let me say a few other things .

 

Let me start by explaining the photo to your right.  when I meet people in town,  they usually say, “Oh, yeah, I know you, you are Dr. Karina. I’ve seen the picture of you in the ads, and you look too young to be a doctor.”  Well, I’m not as young as I look .

 

Years ago something happened to me that changed my life forever.  Let me tell you my story.

 

“Few  years ago when it happens.  Life was great, and i was having the time of my life.  At that time, I was living in New Jersey and I was  driving to work in a snowy April day.  Then it happens….  While making a right turn I lost control of my car.  My car was smashed under an 18- wheeler truck.  They pulled me out of the car, unconscious.  At the hospital, they didn’t think I would make it.  But, I did, although I still had tremendous neck pain and headaches. 

 

I couldn’t work or go to school for several months.   I went to a few doctors, but no one seemed to really help me or care. They only were concern with medication; they gave me lots of muscle relaxers and pain medication just to cover up the pain. They were interested in sending large medical bills to my insurance company. Then, a friend recommended a chiropractor.  As I started to get adjusted, my neck pain , back pain  and headaches improved immediately. That seems like a small thing to you , but it made a huge difference for me.  So much, that I decided to go to chiropractic school too and become a chiropractor.

 

It’s strange how life is, because now people come to see me with their neck and back pain, headaches they experience after  an car accident .  Also they come to me with their  migraines, leg pain, knee pain, shoulder/arm pain,numbness in limbs, athletic injuries,sciatica  just to name a few.

Several times a day patients thank me for helping them with their health issues.  I can’t really take any  credit.  My confession is that I’ve never healed anyone of anything.  What I simply do is perform a specific spinal adjustment to remove nerve pressure, and the body responds by healing itself.  I get tremendous results.  It’s as simple as that! 

 

Being a chiropractor can be tough, because there’s a lot  of so-called experts out there.  They tell people things that are just plain ridiculous about my profession.  But the results I get with my patients and  studies speak for themselves.

 

Forty-eight million Americans no longer have health insurance, and those who do have found that their benefits are reduced, large co-pays and deductibles not allowing them to obtain the health care they need . That’s where chiropractic comes in. Many people find that they actually save money on their health care expenses by seeing a chiropractor.

 

Look, it shouldn’t cost you an arm and a leg to correct your spine.  You are going to write a check to someone for your health care expenses, you may as well write one for a lesser amount for chiropractic services.  By the way chiropractic care at my office  is very affordable.  You see I’m not trying to seduce you to come see me with  low start up fee, then to only make it up with high fees after that. Further care is very important to consider when making your choice of doctor.

 

Great care at a great fee…Please, I hope that there’s no misunderstanding about quality of care just because I  lower my fees for services.  You’ll get great care at a great fee.
